End of an Era

Due to Apple messing about with their quicktime player and encoder and removing support for my screen cap programme, I'm having to announce the end of the podcasts.

If, in the future I can afford another, more up to date screen recorder programme, then I'll be back but as it stands, this venture will have to go on hiatus for now.

I just want to thank each and every one of you for watching and for the support you have shown this ghetto podcast in recent times.

Thank you.

Michelle.

Long time, no speak!

Hi everyone, just want to say a great big thank you for sticking with me.

Winter is past and the stress and complications that come with that time of year are over and done with.

I'm planning on doing a few more podcasts, but it'll be as case of 'as and when'.

I'm kinda stuck for ideas so if you can help me out, that would be brill!

A quickie for all of you who want to convert the podcasts for your ipod. I don't have an ipod so I can't test this out but it seems as if it will work.

Layer masks in Adobe Elements

I recently had a request for some tut's in Adobe Photoshop Elements. I'm sorry to say that I don't have that program available to me.

Hoewever, I've recently become aware that PSE users don't have the option of a layer mask, why Adobe in their wisdom have neglected to add the layer mask to PSE is beyond me, and I think it's a little unfair, especially for newbies starting to learn about photoshop, the layer mask is one of the most important pieces of kit found in photoshop. I don't know where I'd be without the humble layer mask.

I'm sure not having the layer mask has prevented many PSE users from creating some amazing work using full photoshop tutorials.

I have found something that may be of use for you guys!

Clicking the link above will take you to a free Layer Mask tool for PSE.

Enjoy.

Saving for the web is a bit basic, but it's gonna help someone out there, it can be pretty confusing, all of those different colour spaces and what about image size?!
